ERIK SANDBERG

Erik Sandberg is an award winning illustrator, exhibiting artist, and educator. His work has been recognized or featured by The Society of Illustrators, The Society of Publication Designers, American Illustration, Communication Arts, 3 X 3, Surface Magazine, Creative Review, One Show Design among others. Erik won a Silver Medal from the Society in 2005 for Sequential Illustration.

He has worked for such clients as The New York Times, Field & Stream, Spin, Playboy, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Harvard Business Review, Premiere, LA Weekly, The Village Voice, Budweiser, and United Airlines.

Erik was born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota, He received a two year degree in Collision repair technology from General Motors and another two year degree from the Art Institute of Minneapolis in Computer Animation. In 1998 he moved to Southern California where he received a B.F.A. with distinction from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Illustration. Erik currently resides in Los Angeles.
